Located in the heart of Yogyakarta city, making the Fort Vredeburug are within easy reach. In the beginning the building was used by
the colonial Government to oversee the Sultan Hamengku Buwono I in her Office, just a selemparan bullet. This Fort also became a prison for detainees to the Netherlands Government's occupation of Japan and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia. Year after year went by, the castle was dressed up so widened the favorite place for various events. When you want to enjoy the history of the Republic of Indonesia and Yogyakarta, you can see through the dioramas presented beautifully in the space fortress that has been aged two and a half of this century.
